Happy Earth Day

What if for Earth Day one was able to plant 100,000 trees, help all the endangered species to go back to just being well…species, erase air pollution completely and magically bring back the Amazon Rainforest to its original glory.
 
Well, that would be Eco Epic!!! 
 
But what if resources, responsibilities, schedules and/or budgets do not allow for this…I was reminded that sometimes the best impact a person can make is to do any action, no matter how small.…and what if you didn't have to sacrifice or go out of your way.  What if helping the planet was easy, simple and ended up blessing you at the same time??  
 
Well that would be Eco Epic for you and the planet!!
 
One of my daughters had to stay home this Earth Day and so my day wasn’t going to be as gloriously helpful for the planet as I had hoped.  But looking at it from this new perspective, I realized that there are ways I could help.  Check out my simple and small ways I tried to be of service or just happened to natural do things on Earth Day!
 
-Bought two books at a used local bookstore (REUSE, reduce, recycle…ok REUSE check!) 
-Bought food at a place that are striving for fresh wholesome food that is sustainable and care about the environment.  Also non-GMO!
-Drove a Prius saved on gas! 
-Drank Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffee
-Enjoyed sitting while solar panels did all the hard work to bring eco electricity to our house
-Inspired a young mind to express themselves creatively (you never know which creativity will inspire more healing to our world)
 
If we all did small things that were inside of our schedules and budgets that helped the planet…. well, sooner than later those small bits will add up.  Together we are an eco-friendly force to be recon with 😊
